Shanghehang railway is an important part of the national railway trunk line in the national medium and long-term railway network. It is also an important part of China's eight vertical and eight horizontal railway network and Beijing Hong Kong Kowloon high-speed railway line. Wuhu Yangtze River Highway and railway bridge, a control project of Shanghe Hangzhou railway, is a super large highway and railway bridge integrating high-speed railway, rail transit and urban trunk roads. The upper layer is a two-way eight lane highway, and the lower layer is a light rail and a high-speed rail. The main span of the bridge is 588m, the height of No. 2 main tower is 155m, and the height of No. 3 main tower is 130.5m. The tower height above the bridge deck of the main tower of the bridge is only half of the normal tower height. It is the first high-low tower highway railway dual-purpose cable-stayed bridge in the world.

 

The heavy-duty anti-corrosion of the bridge steel beam adopts the system of "inorganic zinc rich primer, special epoxy zinc rich antirust primer, epoxy zinc phosphate sealing primer, epoxy thick paste paint and fluorocarbon finish" in the heavy-duty anti-corrosion system of the bridge steel structure of the Ministry of railways, and the design minimum maintenance life is 15 years.

 

Since the bid winner of the Three Gorges paint project in 2016, the technical service team has been providing coating technology and coating inspection services for the bridge day and night. After nearly 1000 days and nights of continuous service, together with China Railway Bridge Bureau and the coating construction unit, we finally ushered in this important moment amid cheers. At about 10 a.m. on April 26, 2019, the steel beams of Wuhu Yangtze River Highway railway super large bridge were successfully closed!

 

Since providing anticorrosive paint for Neijiang Tuojiang bridge in Chengdu Chongqing railway opened to traffic on July 1, 1951, the Three Gorges paint has provided heavy-duty anticorrosive paint for nearly 100 railways, highway bridges and overpasses in China.
