Founded in 1931, Chongqing Sanxia Paints Co., Ltd. (formerly known as “Chongqing Paint Plant”) has over 90 years of history in paint production. It was restructured to stock corporation in 1992 and its stock was listed (stock for short: Yusanxia A, stock code 000565) in Shenzhen Stock Exchange after being approved by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C in April 8, 1994.

As one of the first joint-stock enterprises restructured and listed in the paint industry in China, the Company is a comprehensive paint production enterprises with large production scale and complete varieties among the state-holding enterprises in the paint industry. It has wholly-owned subsidiaries such as Xinjiang Yusanxia Paint Chemical Co., LTD., Sichuan Yusanxia New Materials Co., LTD., Sichuan Yusanxia Paint Sales Co., LTD., and holds equity in Chongqing Kansai Paint Co., LTD., Beijing Beilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Xinhuixia Clean Energy Co., LTD.

The company is the Vice President Company of China Coating Association, and a “National High-tech Enterprise”, “Technical Innovation Demonstration Enterprise of Chongqing Municipality”, “Professional, Fine, Characteristic and Novel Enterprise of Chongqing Municipality” and “Technical Enterprise of Chongqing Municipality”. The Company has two provincial research and development platforms (Chongqing Enterprise Technology Center and Chongqing Anti-corrosive Coating Engineering Technology Research Center). The Company mainly produces “Sanxia” universal paint, industrial paint, anti-corrosive paint, automobile paint, building paint, furniture paint and other series, which are widely applied to bridge, tunnel, steel structure, aerospace, aviation, national defense and military industry, petrochemical, railway, shipping, wind power, nuclear power, automobile, motorcycle, construction, furniture, light industrial machinery and other fields and national key projects. The trademark “Sanxia” has been recognized as a “Famous Trademark of China”. The anti-corrosive paint series, represented by heavy anti-corrosive paints for bridges and steel structures, and the industrial paint series rank among the best in domestic influence, which are listed in “China’s top ten most popular anti-corrosive paint brands” and rated as “Chongqing Famous-Brand Products” for many years. The Company’s products have repeatedly broken the monopoly of international well-known brands, providing products and services for national defense, military, aerospace and other key projects; for example, it provides supporting facilities for the development of Tiangong-1 target spacecraft in China’s first manned space docking mission, Shenzhou IX spacecraft and Long March II F carrier rocket, winning the honorary award of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, and it also provides products and services for the project of Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
